Upgrading Our Health & Safety with Safe365

At Armstrong Plumbing, we take Health & Safety seriously. It’s not about ticking boxes – it’s about making sure our team gets home safe every day, and that we’re doing the right thing on every site.

We’ve recently upgraded our system and moved everything onto Safe365, an online Health & Safety platform that keeps it simple, smart, and all in one place.

How it Works

With Safe365, every crew member downloads the app and joins the Armstrong Plumbing group. From there, we can:

  • Run pre-starts for vehicles and equipment – just scan a QR code on a machine and the right checklist pops up.

  • Record daily toolbox and prestart meetings – no paper needed, it’s logged directly in the app.

  • Report warnings or alerts on a job – straight away, with the option to add photos for proof.

  • Use voice recordings – if you don’t want to type, just speak it in.

It’s straightforward and practical, and it means nothing slips through the cracks.

Why We Changed

In the past, we used manual job books. To be honest – they weren’t being used properly and things got missed. Now, because everything is on the guys’ phones, it’s quick and easy to complete checklists, log issues, and keep records. Photos give us solid evidence, and the desktop version provides a full Health & Safety report for each project.

This not only helps us run safer sites – it also gives us a professional Health & Safety rating we can use when applying for tenders and future projects.

Keeping it Simple

Safe365 isn’t over-the-top or complicated. It’s practical, easy to use, and ensures our team stays on top of Health & Safety every day. For us, it’s about making things safer, easier, and smarter.
