Seven new homes on Grace Road, sorted from the ground up

When a developer takes on a multi-unit project, the plumbing and drainage that goes in early shapes how those homes perform for decades. Get it right and nobody thinks about it again. Get it wrong and it becomes someone's expensive problem down the track. 

That's the work we do best. We recently wrapped up the plumbing and drainage for the new development at 135 Grace Road here in Tauranga: seven modern, coastal-inspired homes designed for easy-care living. Here's a look at what went into it. 

The job: plumbing and drainage across seven homes 

Multi-unit developments aren't just a few houses side by side. Every unit needs its own reliable supply, waste and drainage, all tying back into shared and council systems without a hitch. That takes planning, the right gear, and a crew who've done it before. 

With two bathrooms in every home, plus designer kitchens and a laundry in each, that's a lot of plumbing to get right across the site, and all of it has to perform from day one. Our team handled the full plumbing and drainage scope, from the underground drainage work through to the fit-out inside each home. We worked alongside the wider build team to keep things moving and to make sure every connection was right the first time. 

Built to need less down the track 

These homes were designed to be low-maintenance and easy to live in. That suits us perfectly, because that's exactly how we approach the work behind the walls. 

Our developer and property owner customers tell us the same thing: they want quality work that won't keep coming back to bite them. We use experienced plumbers and drainlayers on every job, and we hold to high standards whether it's the part you'll see or the part buried under the ground. On a seven-home project, that consistency matters even more, because the same standard has to carry across every single unit.
